Shared costs, kept even.

Track who paid what with friends, partners and trips. ZeeSplit does the maths and tells everyone what they owe.

How it works

  1. Add an expense

Say what it was for, how much, and who paid. Split it equally, by exact amounts, by percentage or by shares.

Dinner for three splits unevenly, and ZeeSplit shows it plainly: Ana takes the extra cent. When an amount doesn't divide evenly, the leftover cents go to the member who joined the group first, so every phone shows the same numbers.

  2. Everyone sees their share

Each person sees what they owe or are owed, and the balance updates as expenses come in.

  3. Settle up

ZeeSplit suggests a short list of payments to even things out. Record one in full or in part, and the balances follow.

Made for sharing costs

Nobody gets the bigger half.

Every split adds up to the cent, so what people owe always matches what was paid.

Questions

Do my friends need an account?

No. They can join a group from an invite link as a guest and see its balances. Creating a group needs an account.

How are uneven amounts rounded?

Amounts are kept in whole cents, never fractions. When a total doesn't divide evenly, the leftover cents go to the members who joined first, one each, so the shares always add up to the total.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. ZeeSplit runs in your phone's browser and installs to your home screen like an app. There is no App Store or Google Play version.

Which currencies work?

Each group uses one currency, chosen when you create it. Any standard ISO 4217 currency works, with its own number of decimals.

Where is my data stored?

In a Postgres database hosted by Neon, behind a server on Render. Encrypted backups are kept for 30 days. The privacy policy lists every service involved. Read the privacy policy.
